It seems like you think that you would not like any David Lynch's films, given their weirdness. I highly recommend you watch The Straight Story, which he often called his most transgressive film. Based on a true story, it is the tale of an elderly Iowa man who drives his lawnmower across the state to reach his brother, after his driver's license was taken away. It is a truly great movie, with great performances (Richard Farnsworth played Alvin Straight) and amazing cinematography.
Another great installment, Charlie! I especially liked your tribute to Bob Uecker, which made me wish that I had been a Brewers fan so that I might have enjoyed his many years of entertaining announcing.
Your piece on Sam Moore was also very good --- actually, the whole issue was terrific! Thanks for all the work!
Phew that was a long one! You worked hard on that one and it was worth it!
Thanks Mike.
Great column.

Thanks Mitch. It's not Lynch's movies I wouldn't like, it's movies in general. I think the last movie I saw was Spinal Tap. Just not my thing.
Got it.
Great read Charlie
Thanks Kev. Hope all is well. Dinner when it gets warm.
